ODF Sealant

Main adhesive sealant is used on liquid crystal panels to bond two glass substrates and prevent the liquid crystal inside from seeping out.Traditional liquid crystal injection method is bonding two glass substrates with main adhesive sealant by heat curing. After the liquid crystal cells are cut to size, liquid crystal is injected in between the two glass substrates. The whole process is quite time-consuming.

With the increasing demand for middle-size and large-size LCD panels in the market, new one drop filling (ODF) liquid crystal injection method has replaced the traditional capillary injection method.

ODF process not only shortens the liquid crystal injection time but also increases the cost efficiency of liquid crystal material. Accordingly, the production capacity and efficiency are largely increased.

Moreover, we provide customization is also available to meet the specific needs of customers in order to provide the best solutions for the market.

Coating one glass substrate with UV cure main adhesive sealant, injecting liquid crystal, bonding the other glass substrate, and then UV curing the whole cell.

ODF Advantages of main adhesive sealant:

    1
    Maintaining stable substrate spacing.
    2
    Possesses exceptional dimension stability.
    3
Maintains low shrinkage after curing and offers outstanding continuous coating capability.
    4
Offers a high purity main adhesive sealant possessing low moisture permeability and low liquid crystal contamination which can prevent the main adhesive sealant from affecting the properties of the liquid crystal.
    5
Excellent adhesive strength: The strength of the adhesion between the two substrates affects the reliability of the liquid crystal monitor.
    6
Offers excellent adhesion, providing a more reliable flat panel display.
    7
Possesses fast UV curing and excellent shadow curing capability.
